The LIC ADO examination generally consists of three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination:

• Sections:
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Numerical Ability
  • English Language with special emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary
• Mode: Online (Computer Based Test)
• Number of Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 70 (Each section carries different weightage)
• Duration: 1 hour

2. Main Examination:

• Sections:
  • Reasoning Ability & Numerical Ability
  • General Knowledge, Current Affairs & English Language
  • Insurance & Financial Marketing Awareness
• Mode: Online (Computer Based Test)
• Number of Questions: Varies (around 150-200)
• Total Marks: 300
• Duration: 2 hours

3. Interview:

• Candidates who qualify the Main Examination are called for an Interview.
• The interview assesses the candidate’s suitability for the role and their communication skills.
